88 Armenian is a boutique hotel interior project located within Penang’s heritage core. The project made reference to the history and narrative of the site where the hotel sits; a once bustling copper and brass market place. A consistent and disciplined use of copper and brass throughout the project resulted in an interior that is classic, sophisticated and carried well-tooled details throughout. The jury commended the designers for working alongside local copper and brass craftsmen to achieve a well-executed interior design together.
